Birthday party and ice cream making.

Well this week was fine. I had some fun with the kids and have pictures of course! So first we had birthday party this week. I had Lily and Ashley from my new class, Beethoven and I had Christopher and Matthew from Einstein. It was fun and the kids looked cute!

So on Friday as a special science project with my kids in Einstein, I made ice cream with them. It was a lot of fun, but very very messy. It was funny though. They had a lot of fun chasing me around with the bags of ice. They understood how it worked and it didn't work so great because they kids didn't shake long enough, but they liked it anyways. :) So here are some photos of the kids and me.

Lastly this weekend I had a lot of fun! Yesterday I saw Leah. I haven't seen her since before I left for America so it was nice to spend time with her. We went to Myeongdong which is one of the biggest shopping districts in Korea. It is a place that her and I know pretty well and you can buy all kinds of things for pretty little money. Like I bought two rings for 10 dollars. I got some hair ribbons too! So Leah and I ate dinner, did some shopping, went to norebang (karaoke) and had pat-bing-su (red bean sundae). It was a lot of fun! :) I also saw Haris today since I will be busy the next 3 weeks and I won't be able to see him. We went shopping in Yongsan which is a big digital shopping area. It was fun and we had pizza and ice cream. So I had a great weekend. :)

Ahh so next weekend is the start of my summer vacation. I am not sure if I have mentioned it yet but next Sunday I am flying out to Taiwan! Now I am super excited because it was another place I have always wanted to visit. Before I like K-pop I was into Taiwanese pop music! I am doing a tour group by myself, but I will be visiting the whole island of Taiwan. I honestly am so excited. So I will try to update on Saturday night if I have time. If not then my update won't be for 2 weeks. I will be meeting Leah's brother and dad next weekend and we are going to show them Myeongdong and take them to eat. So I will have some fun updates coming. The weekend after I get back from Taiwan I will be going to a concert with Leah. It is another K-pop group called infinite and I am excited. okay week

Well this week was my first week with my new class. It was okay. It takes awhile to bond with a class so I am still working on it. The kids are pretty well behaved. They are nice and full of energy. Here are some pictures of story time with them.

I also got a very special gift this week from my Melissa. She made me erasers and they are so cute! There are 2 hot dogs and an ice cream. There was also a note inside that said, "love you".

Lastly on Friday I had my free talking class with McQueen who is Alex's older brother and he joined up for the class. It was fun and I had to take a couple of pictures with him. McQueen wouldn't take pictures with us.

Well that is all I have to update on. We were supposed to go on a field trip but it got cancelled because of the rain. It is rainy season in Korea so we have been getting a lot of rain. Well have a good week everyone! Besos!

meh kind of week

Okay so I had a rough week to say the least. The start of my week was kind of sad because on Monday I found out that James from my Einstein class was leaving the school and it was his last day. So I was sad that he left. I even cried (at home not in front of the kids). I really miss him already. So here are some pictures from his last day.

Okay so the next day I did an art project with Einstein that my mom sent with me for them. So here are the pictures of that.

So on Friday I kind of had a bad day. Now when I resigned with my school I told them I only wanted to be main teacher of Einstein. Well on Friday they begged me to talk on another class because teachers are leaving soon and they want a stable teacher for the class. Although I don't want it I told them I would, but I also told them they had to cut down on my Elementary hours. Well the teacher I am replacing was upset not at me but at the situation. I don't blame her I was upset. I don't really understand why I had to take this class, but that is another story. The other teachers were more upset, because they will have to take on some more in Elementary, but it is only fair if they are working less and I am taking on more.  Anyways, point being I was upset on Friday and I really don't want this other class, but I will do my best with them. I did tell my boss though that Einstein will have my main focus because they are the one graduating in March. She kept telling me that this other class was the best and yeah they may be better behaved than my Einstein class, but it doesn't make them better. Now Einstein will have 3 teachers, because I will be switching my time with the teacher who had this other class. On the bright side I had all day kindy on Friday and one of my favorite kids picked up on the fact that I was sad and she made me "cookie" the whole class time. It was so cute. Took some pictures with her too!
